There can be times in life when we feel like everything is going south; when things are not going the way we want them to. And this is when the feeling of gloominess and failure starts to cloud our mind; leading to a stage where we are not motivated enough to pick our-self up and get back on track.

The worst part is that we don’t have someone to look up to in such circumstances. So, how to come out of it? Well, to help you fight this problem of demotivation we’ll share some simple tips that will help manifest your own greatness to keep you inspired and motivated. So let us take a look at those tips, one by one –

1. It’s your life, it must be in your control

Self-doubt is the biggest reasons behind demotivation. When you start believing what others say and start to doubt your caliber, that’s when things start to worsen. Fear of failure won’t let you succeed unless you conquer it. And the best way to conquer your fears is to face them.

‘Don’t let anyone ever make you feel like you don’t deserve what you want.’ This mantra will help you to move mountains and gain ultimate control over your life.

2. You have already achieved a lot; so why can’t you achieve this one?

The second boost you need at this point of time is that of reminding yourself of the achievements you have already made in life. There must be something that you have done in your life that you are proud of, yes? It could be anything, from doing well on an examination, getting your first job or doing something good for society .

When you feed your brain with all this, it can easily interpret the information and release the hormones that will keep the body inspired. So, don’t ever forget to remind yourself – I’m going to conquer it easily!

3. Don’t lose your focus

Failure is the biggest reasons why we feel demotivated. But the problem lies not in failure, but in the fact that you easily gave up after the failure. That’s when the feeling of being a “loser” starts to sink in.

But this is not how great achievements are made. Take a look at the history books and you will figure out that all great names in the history had to face failures at one point or the other in their life.

The greatest example is that of Thomas Edison, who even after failing more than 10,000 ways to create the bulb kept his mind motivated by saying, “I have not failed; I have just found 10,000 ways that don’t work.”

And that’s how greatness is achieved.

If you feel like giving up, then think of that one reason that has brought you to this situation. Once you figure that out, your focus to conquer your fears will receive a much needed boost!
