Les Schwab Amphitheatre is located in Bend and is one of the most iconic music venues in Oregon. And living up to its expectations, this year’s summer concert list is lined up with some BIG NAMES. So, get ready – Bend Concert Season 2017 is going to heat this summer up more than ever before!
A little about Les Schwab Amphitheatre (LSA)
With a capacity of 8,000, the Les Schwab Amphitheater is located on the banks of the Deschutes River in Bend near the Old Mill District. It was opened in 2002 and has been one of the most iconic places in the region ever since, being the preferred destination of almost all the high-profile touring artists coming to this part of the world.
From Phish and Dave Mathews to Death Cab for Cutie, Weird Al, Alabama Shakes, Ringo Star and many more – they all have had their performances in LSA over the recent years.
This year’s list
And this season, LSA brings a number of pleasant surprises for you guys. Here is the list of 2017 star-studded performance that you can expect to at Bend Concert Season, 2017 :
June 11th: John Mellencamp with Jewell and Carlene Carter
June 24th: Paul Simon
June 30th: Pink Martini
July 1st: Ween
July 4th: Deftones + Rise Against
July 20th: Jack Johnson
July 21st: The Avett Brothers
July 25th: Diana Krall
August 4th: Steve Miller Band with Peter Frampton
And that’s not all! According to the officials there are as many as ten more shows to be announced yet. We will surely bring that list for you as soon as it gets announced.
Tickets are available at BendConcerts.com. You can visit the website or buy tickets in person by going to the Ticket Mill, which is located between Anthony’s and PacSun in The Old Mill.
Apart from the amazing music and live shows, the concerts will also have multiple local food vendors and the must have local craft beer, wine and spirits booths as well.
There are plenty of amazing places to host your stay during the concert as well. Hampton Inn is one such amazing option. It is located right next to the amphitheater, so you won’t have to rush too far to be at the concert.
Apart from this larger than life Bend Concert Season, you can be part of the free weekly concert series which is held on Sunday afternoons at the Bend Amphitheater, held in the months of June and July. Normal times for concerts are 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., featuring family-friendly music, food vendors, bouncy houses and lots of other surprises.
